Ask HN: Since Google rebranded Bard to Gemini, is anybody still using ChatGPT?

I've got 2 months of free Gemini Advanced subscription and been using it for pretty much everything (Python coding, writing docs, getting tips on how to fix things etc.) ever since. I love that now I could edit the code and run the edited version right in the Gemini too. I was wondering does anyone still use ChatGPT since Gemini (Advanced) feels so good already and is connected to all the main Google apps.

I read Google's not good online, are you finding it better than ChatGPT?
i don't use Gemini for the image gen so all the negative news about it being left leaning and biased maybe true but for me does not matter that much for now.

What I use it mainly for, is to learn new concepts or brush up on stuff in Python and learn ML and Stats concepts deeply. it seems like Google made lots of improvement since they launched it as a Bard in terms of accuracy and usefulness especially when it comes to coding help.

Genuinely curious where do folks see chatGPT better than Gemini?

I use ChatGPT every day, and from the conversations I see in AI circles, the main competition is not coming from Google/Gemini.

More to the point, why does your post read like an ad for Google?

I stopped my ChatGPT subscription with the free 2 months and finding it useful enough, but just ended up signing up for Claude with that out of curiosity. I still think ChatGPT is a little more reliable for what I use them for but fairly confident long term Gemini will be better so probably not going to sign back up
Gemini is overall okay until you hit a ridiculous / infuriating guardrail and then you want to choke it to death.

It happens quite often, and everytime I check the same question on ChatGPT I get a straight answer
