Roku disables TVs and streaming devices until users consent to new terms (techcrunch.com)

I don't think this should be legal. They should be forced to buy back the device of anyone who does not agree to the new terms.

I do wonder what it is that is causing Roku to take this step. Are they afraid of someone suing over the data they've collected?

I guess they never heard that a contract signed under duress is legally suspect.

How is this legally binding if my 4-year old clicked through the pop-up?
