This is why we no longer call it global warming, properly we call it climate change.

Yes, on average temps are increasing, but the system is complex and complicated so there going to be extreme cold spikes as well.

It's funny that article mentions Luntz. I should have known he was involved. But as it turns out, this time he unintentionally got it wrong.

For me, those who don't believe in climate change use the term global warming. The reason is simple. If they stick to that narrative, anytime there's extreme cold they're able to say, "See, global warming is nonsense." On the other hand, extreme cold in the context of climate change makes perfect sense. There's no room for pushback.
