I normally use Safari on iOS, but happened to use Edge on iOS and Hacker News showed up in a dark mode.
I’ve used Edge within the last week and it wasn’t dark mode then and I certainly haven’t added any kind of extensions or anything like that.
I tried browsing in Safari in private mode and no dark mode and similarly tried Edge in private mode which again showed dark mode, so it doesn’t seem to be a cookie.
Anyone know if it’s maybe an Edge feature I don’t know about, or is Hacker News slowly rolling out dark mode?
I would check to make sure dark mode isn’t turned on in Edge. I can use Night Mode on Brave and it makes it a night mode variation for HN so it’s possibly that.

It can also modify sites after the fact to implement it's own Dark Mode.
