Signal Is Down (downdetector.com)

I am unable to send messages on it for the past 20 minutes.

Both for group settings and for DMs.

https://status.signal.org/ says it's "up and running" but that is clearly not the case. I find that more concerning than the outage itself.

AT&T T-mobile was down, then Facebook messenger and WhatsApp, now Signal?! I’m not much of a tin foil hat kind of guy but this is getting uncanny.

Seems to be back up again, ~15 min outage.

Coming from Australia, HN is timing out, and Google is throwing QUIC_PROTOOCOL_ERRORs. And that's after rebooting my phone to kick the 4G connection as best as I can, so I think the problems aren't quite last-mile.

Given the other comment about AT&T and FB, something's happened in Nebraska (figuratively) per https://xkcd.com/2347/, or, idk...?

At least HN is loading consistently now.
