This seems to be based entirely on 15 days' worth of data from the first month of the war. That seems insufficient to me, for such a confident claim.

The article raises some interesting points, and of course there’s lots of reason to not trust unverified data from the Gaza MoH (also a hyper-partisan source with a vested interest in inflating death counts), but it’s hard not to see a Koolaid-drinker dismissing someone else’s Koolaid consumption habits.

The real number of (from the Israeli perspective justified) Palestinian injuries and deaths in Gaza is both non-zero and significantly disproportional to the number of (from the Palestinian perspective justified) Israeli injuries and deaths on Oct 7th… whatever the true number is, it’s an atrocity Ouroboros that only ends when people put down their weapons and start agreeing the costs are too high.
