There is some misinformation in this article. For instance, Snowflake absolutely supports transactions for most operations, DML operations always occur in a single transaction but any INSERT, UPDATE, SELECT, etc can absolutely be lumoed with other operations in a single transaction safely.

Also I would be surprised if Snowflake documentation at this introductory level does not exist.
there are a few levels of "certification" that Snowflake offers for professionals who are expected to understand how Snowflake works at a fairly detailed level -- and I am sure official documentation exists to cater to this group starting with a technical introduction/overview of capabilities etc.
