The track log shows a gap in the data around the time the incident occurred. Is it typical for gaps to exist in that route (out of range for any ADS-B receiver) ?
I'm wondering if we'll reach a point where every 787 and 737 MAX will need to be recalled, completely disassembled, and reassembled with normal quality-control and inspections in place.
We're well past the point where it would have made sense to do it right in the first place. However, we're still well ahead of Soviet aviation quality standards.
