Ask HN: What do you use for requirement management?

My company uses products from this company: https://cognition.us/. It has a lot of features but usability is terrible and many features are implemented in a half-assed way.

This makes me wonder what other people are using. I have heard mixed things about DOORS and others. Are there any systems that are nice to work with or does requirement management just suck?

I've often just used an ordinary issue tracker like JIRA or GitHub issues. I consider the term "bug tracker" harmful because there's no difference between spending a day fixing a bug vs adding a feature.
