This is interesting, and it would be so cool with a breakdown showing number of lines of code per area of responsibility/function in the car.
I guess many "main display" (entertainment but increasingly other functions too) are running Linux, and that's around 30 million lines of code right there.
Considering the amount of overall development work that has gone into Linux for the past almost 30 years, I wonder if it's 70 million lines of in-house code that makes up the rest. I'm forever naive, but that just seems ... unlikely to be true.
