Regenerate button shouldn’t be there at the start since it does nothing.
Not sure why there is an ascii image of an actress? That’s not a good favicon and doesn’t seem to be a reason for it being there
when i asked for a favicon it gave me a tiled list of 25 favicons (update i see the point now. you allow the user to manually crop? why not just return 25 separate favicons?)
it takes an unreasonably long time to generate
The loading spinner stopped and i was faced with a black screen for about 20 seconds, thinking it was broken
Step 2 “crop and resize shows a tab with no favicon, and then put the (25) favicons in the wrong place, over “ipsum”. This section could be called “Preview” and should only show when needed.
refresh canvas button should be automatic, no need for a button
create favicon should just say download favicon (it’s very laggy too)
upgrade to pro takes me to some weird error page
the favicon you chose for the site isn’t good or readable
I hope these aren’t too harsh! I think if you fix these it will help a lot with your skills. This actually helped me a lot giving me a new idea for a logo! The two main things you should focus on are speed of the site and a cohesive UX flow. Good luck with your mission!
aditionally, I'd like to get one free favicon, as to ensure I actually get a favicon, properly formated .ico file (which are way more different from .png files than just the .ico extention)
According to this[1], browsers support all the common image formats as favicon. But other than maybe SVG, the ICO file format has the advantage of being able to offer multiple dimensions and colors, so one doesn't need need to rely on the browser's resizing algorithm...
I think you forgot { position: relative; } on .manipulation2
I like that it actually shows on the tab what the favicon would look like, but on my screen resolution the tab looks HUUUUUUUUUGEEE. Also I don't know if you know this but a single favicon.ico file may contain multiple different resolutions. Perhaps support that?
Pretty decent. I think I would use this. My main feedback is it’s a bit hard to use on mobile, but then again my dev work would be on a desktop. Also, it would be great if you would automatically split the grid for me and just let me download any of the 25 options rather than manual cropping.

Bootstrap is a very dated look now.

Intermediate Software people will just acknowledge it and move on.
