I have a soft spot for these management cybernetics schemes. Functionally these are cults. I don’t mean that in a negative way but there is interesting baggage. We can look at the evolution of cults to glean information about the hyper-parameters of their incentive structures. As usual everything is nice as long as things are going well.
It is fun to think about but in the end, if we met an advanced civilisation with a system of fully automatic morals we would only give them our cold disinterest. This is logos, but we also need ethos and pathos.
