3D modeling is hard - available only to a small group of people who use it at work or are excited enough to master it as a hobby. dreamforge is building software to make 3D modeling accessible to anyone.

Dreamforge is founded by Stanford engineers, advised by a Stanford CS professor, and part of the YCombinator Summer 2012 class.

What We’re Looking For We're looking for a someone with an expertise in web development, who would be passionate about building improved 3D modeling software.

Ideal people have a background (or can quickly come up to speed with) Ruby on Rails, MongoDB and are passionate about attacking this problem as a startup (with its relevant pace and focus on shippable code).

Ideally, we are looking for a full-timer in the Bay Area, but can make exceptions for exceptional candidates elsewhere in the world or for interns. Experience is outweighed by passion, hard work, and good judgment.

What We Offer Like all early stage startups, the path is long and the chance of failure high. We are a tiny group of passionate people looking to transform a field that was created decades ago - with strong incumbent players.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with a company that has literally graduated from our garage (after 5 months). We’ll offer fantastic responsibilities as our first employee - you’ll own much of the code base, while working with people who build difficult graphical algorithms. And if we meet even part of our objective, you will likely never to have to worry about compensation again.

To apply, send an email to jobs@dreamforge.me with your resume, link to GitHub profile, and a project you’re proud to show off.
