Show HN: Onelook – Create applications by describing them in human language (onelook.ai)

Hey HN! We are the team at Onelook.

Demo: https://demo.onelook.ai/ Blog post: https://medium.com/@onelook/introducing-onelook-a-radical-ne...

Onelook allows users to create fully-functional applications by describing them in human language. And by fully-functional we really mean backend included. Think of it as Retool for non-technical people or Copilot to build apps.

Existing tools are for technical teams and even Retool, which is a great product, requires setting up connection to databases, write queries, and call REST APIs.

We understand it is impossible to create a fully-functional app just by describing it in one go. Our approach is to model the conversation between a client and a product manager. In this case, the AI is the PM. The user chats back and forth with the AI to refine the app.

Thank you!

Do not hijack my browser history with your scroll trap!
This was the most infuriating crap I've seen on a website in a while
Absolutely the worst scroll jacking I’ve ever seen (just trying to go back or back up to the top on mobile)
Apologies for the bad UX. We've fixed it :)
This is not usable on mobile
Apologies for that. We've fixed the marketing site and it should be mobile-friendly now. The demo site is still not mobile-optimized. Please give it a try on a desktop. Thank you!
The front page is not mobile-friendly
Backend is included? How do you guys set up the DBs for different apps considering schema might differ wildly?

Also, is this meant for creating any kind of app or more of internal apps/tools like Retool does?

Internal apps is our current main use case, but we have plans to make it work for all kinds of apps.

Regarding the question on database, we use multi-tenancy on Postgres. Each application created will have its own database+user.

Have Onelook create a fully functional accessible responsive website with a transcript of the chat followed by a big shiny buy button underneath.

then come back as Rockstars
