This was actually a surprisingly good short watch. Nothing really new, but edited together well. Nice to see that at least one person in the US military is paying attention to this and speaking up about it.
For those who don't want, or don't have time to watch the video, the part about cell phones and poles was this: Ukraine created a network of 8000 such phones on poles that use their microphones, and they do some type of analysis and are able to identify where the Russian drones (like the Shahed) are coming. With this information, they can use anti-air artillery (like the German Gepard) and take down the incoming drone, and this is much more cost effective than using expensive missiles like the Patriot.
What was left completely unsaid was that a microphone that picks up the noise from a Shahed can equally pick up the noise from an F-35. That is going to be a potential problem.
It's a good idea, but Russians could learn how to trick it, knowing what assumption it makes. It's not too hard to detect stationary phones either or silence them so that they don't relay.
