Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform is riding a wave of enthusiasm from small investors as a second day of gains took the lossmaking social media group’s valuation above $13bn.
I'm not American, so I don't have a dog in this race. What I find a shame, though, is that the small investors are buying this stock for political reasons.
When (not if) the initial euphoria passes, the price will collapse. Many of them will lose money that they cannot really afford.
