I wonder if there are any male only competitions where it would be an advantage to go thru puberty as female and then transition to male before competing?

Claude Opus says that in "gymnastics or figure skating, going through female puberty could result in a shorter stature, lighter build, and greater flexibility compared to the average biologically male athlete, which could be advantageous. However, once hormone replacement therapy with testosterone begins, trans men will develop typical male muscle mass, strength, and other attributes. So advantages would likely be limited"

Glad the athletes are starting to speak up, hopefully this encourages others to do the same.
