Apple services down are (Music/Arcade/Fitness/TV/Audiobooks/Appstore)
Those services are down for me in HK
Spain too. Weird! What did they mess up so badly that two countries so far apart are both affected?

Australia here. Strangely Siri will play music via the HomePod, but the Music app is not responding.
makes sense, things are weird when the world is upside down
With the WhatsApp/Facebook/instagram outage earlier today. I am thinking this is either a cloud provider issue or DNS or BGP issue lol
I'm still seeing the normal AS714 prefixes in my table, both over direct IX peering sessions and via transit. If it's BGP, it's not an issue with their external announcements.
I always thought that these outages were relatively benign from a user perspective, but after the last major WhatsApp outage a few weeks back I somehow got logged out of my main phone as I tried to "log in" to my 2nd device (and later failed to log back in to the main device that has all data). It appears such edge cases aren't really thoroughly tested, which seems disappointing but also surprising to me.

If only there were third-party app stores...
…then my Apple Music app would be responding now?

Is this why I can't control lights via Apple Home? That's pretty lousy if so...

Interestingly, the App Store is now working for me (wasn't a few minutes ago).

HomeKit is apparently functioning fine, so maybe not.
Looks like the App Store is back up now (at least here in the UK).
...flagged? Really?

HN really is Apple Simp Central. This is literally just linking to Apples own status page
