Ask HN: What's up with (paid) Gmail advertising Gemini?

We use Gmail Workspace for our business, and whilst working on some emails, we were shown a Gemini promotional banner right at the top of our inbox (which we quickly dismissed).

I'd be more accepting of this if it were a free Gmail account - but this was a paid business account.

Not a fan of this. Anyone else getting the same?
