You could do so syncing a Restic repository in a shared Synchting folder.

An issue is, you will allow external traffic to your network which may cause security and bandwidth issues, and you might be responsible if illegal data is stored, even if encrypted.

Better to ship off to a cloud in my opinion.

The idea is that you know where your backup is (not like in the cloud). We haven't considered any legal yet. Thanks for this input.

We are not trying to make any profit. Open Soure will come.

We've just added english and did not jet update any content. I don't think the way the data is stored is problematic.
