For a city that hosts lots of tech brains, anything services or utilities related is the worst.
I had to call a human to sign up for trash pickup, which is different from water, which is different from power. And even then they got it wrong and we had two accounts at the same address.
Then you try to pay for power but you have to disable a modal through the console to even get to the bill pay button. Don’t even know how most people pay their bills.
In nowhere Florida you sign up online in ONE place for all three. set autopay and forget it.
Trains are expected to last for decades, so this really isn't surprising. Developing a new system with the latest hardware to replace the floppy disk system would probably cost millions and might introduce bugs and security issues.
