Ask HN: Document folder based Static Sitegen

I have encountered an interesting SSG on HN probably, and can't find it again. It has some form of paid hosting option, maybe as a SaaS, but I cannot remember clearly. It was probably a solo project, minimalist, no SV startup hyped stuff with fancy landing page, etc.

Its main value proposition was that it was working from a folder structure (local, samba share, google drive/dropbox maybe) containing documents (think docx, odt, md, txt, rtf, etc.) and images providing a coherent website experience.

Something I could give to my parents and they could use to collect recipes or create image galleries in a unified page (no external services linked for galleries for example). (So no markdown, and "programmer stuff" needed, while supported for the power users)

I actually need something like this for my parents. :)
