British Farmers shot themselves in the foot, now want others to clean up their mess.

It isn't because of Brexit, farmers also struggle in the EU. What is actually needed is UBI for the entire population, so that people can work less. The problem usn't the lack of productivity, or anything similar, the problem is there is just no way to reasonably employ all people with modern technology, so you end up producing more than can be reasonably sold and consumed.

Yes, some people will not work, and that's why it's good.

I actually think that's a good idea overall.
