Show HN: NoFap: I created an extension to block porn websites (github.com)

The NoFap Extension is a browser tool designed to block access to pornographic websites. Unlike other blockers that require users to add URLs manually, this extension automatically bans such websites without the need for user intervention. It provides a simple and effective solution for those seeking to limit their exposure to explicit content online.

And for those not seeking to limit their exposure, this extension provides a substantial list of porn websites to choose from: https://github.com/dikshantrajput/noFap/blob/main/public/lis...
36,046 lines. Somehow I didn't expect it to be that substantial.
To be fair to the notion of substantial, it likely represents well under 0.1% of the pornographic sites on the public internet.
Of the currently operating ones? I doubt that. Even just within that list there's a significant percentage of link rot present. Beyond the top ~5000 or so sites I would wager the longevity of adult content sites is pretty bad on average. They tend to be sketchy, ad-infested cesspools after all, that lose their value for the operators once they get on block lists.

I don't doubt that there's a lot more out there (10x yes, 100x possibly, 1000x unlikely imo), but I think tens-of-thousands is enough to capture almost all of the significant ones that get any traffic and will be around for longer than one or two domain renewal periods.

Agreed with you MildlySerious. Thanks for pointing it out. If anyone reading this reply have any, please open an issue. At the end it will help someone.
I also just got the file from some public pool
does it block twitter?
