I was using Anki flashcards since my university years. I even learned English with it but now it feels outdated both by design and features. So I’ve made a replacement for myself and enjoyed it. Now I’m making it publicly available with some AI features. All features work well but personally I’m in love with simplicity in the design. Here’s Anki Donkey :)
Outdated in features? It just got a brand new, top performing scheduler.

AI doesn‘t do anything for me in spaced repetition, though.

For desktop its fine but the mobile version is trash for me. I always imagined something more simple I just wanna review my cards and go. In the AI part, if I'm about to put my cards, it should be simple as copy paste so AI do that now. That's my main motivation to build this
The name "Anki Donkey" leaves you open to legal action from Anki for reusing their trademark on a similar product. I'd recommend changing the name to drop "Anki".
While it's a bummer, there's tons of people already doing this, maybe most famously AnkiApp https://www.ankiapp.com/

I don't think there's any registered trademark.

Yeah, I was gonna say the same thing but I'd do the change if necessary. I just liked the sound of Anki Donkey :)
