Is it really necessary to force us to join your Discord server to play the game?
I noped out of there when it required a third party signin to play.
My immediate reaction is to assume bad faith:

- bad video, doesn’t explain anything (literally a waste of time to watch it)

- no landing page, no privacy policy or details of app structure/stack

- requires sharing data (Discord -> Voice)

I like the idea/concept but because of the above I am not going to bother.

totally understand not allowing microphone access. you can decline and still play the game by typing in your responses (hit Enter to type)
Was going to try it - canceled because of Discord.
hey all, thanks for checking it out. the game is in an early state and so we're hoping to get feedback from people as we iterate and discord makes that easier for us
Not interested if it requires Discord.
I played it through. It was OK... though once I figured out the basics it felt too easy. Each character had their hook, and telegraphed that hook via their dialog, so I just had to make some story related to that. And I suppose choose an appropriate character to take over, though I appreciated that while it seemed like some background characters were specifically intended for some targets it also wasn't required to use that character.

Anyway, I suppose it's fine for level 1 that it's fairly easy. But I think it's going to be a challenge to figure out how to make it harder it later levels. Maybe more extended social engineering? Though I'm not sure I have the patience to be a pretend conman.

I think the premise is really interesting! looking forward to seeing where it goes.
