If philosophy is BS, how would we approach studying topics like epistemology, ethics, logic, and metaphysics?

Or beyond the core branches of philosophy, such as æsthetics, philosophy of language, mind, religion?

Or the philosophy of science? Or politics?

- I don’t believe religion is true

- I do believe it has nonliteral truths that can be revealed with a lifetime of wisdom

- I don’t believe religious texts and structures actually lead people to those positive bits

- I do believe religion carries a lot of negative ideas too. It’s just a random sociological bag of ideas with both good and bad in it.

So yeah not really worth studying. Like just go to therapy. It’s better.

Philosophy of religion is not the same as theology or religious philosophy.
