I, along with every other person with serious weight issues, have spent the vast majority of my life being told my weight management problems are exclusively a personal failing, and I’ve been told that by the vast majority of people around me, from parents to teachers to doctors and multiple governments.
Yes, there needs to be more compassion for everyone, but don’t think for even a second this very minimal and nascent sympathy from society is at all widespread.

Eat too much: weight management is extremely challenging due to interactions between our biology, behavior, and the obesogenic environment.

Moving is more important than weight loss.
