What's the best Linux for remote desktop?
I've tried a couple times to access a Linux desktop from my Mac, and each time ended up feeling like it was more trouble than it's worth. ssh and cockpit are fine, so arguably there's no real need. But sometimes I want to do something that seems like it would be most easily done using a GUI app, even using a machine as a remote server, so I'm not completely satisfied.
It occurred to me today that there might be a Linux distribution that makes it particularly easy to set up some kind of remote desktop. So, in case that's true, I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions.

[ 3.5 ms ] story [ 19.3 ms ] threadI use a headless Raspberry Pi to run my website. To use the Desktop running on the Rpi I use VNC Viewer on my 'real' Desktop machine.
Now, mind you, This is all on the LAN. I don't know how well it would work on a distant network.
