Ask HN: Bluetooth Connectivity – A Step Back?

Why do new Bluetooth devices 5.0 LE? have poor connectivity? Purchased Bose QC 2 earbuds recently. Within few tries they failed to synchronize with each other and then failed to sync with 15 Pro Max. They were already paired with my phone. They worked like a charm at first try. New out of the box and issues within a day. As opposed to my Old Bose over the ears ~5 yr old - connect every single time without any issues.

maybe your device is broken or it's a bug? its actually better for me in new headphones

You mean my 15 pro max? Or the brand new Bose are broken? Yeah I have decided to return it since this is way out of the ordinary. I have also tried resetting the device itself and resetting network settings on my iPhone. There are many reviews wi the similar issues

The purpose of Bluetooth was to have IP-encumbered electroncs & software more so than connectivity.

So performance quality kind of comes & goes.
