It was never alive to begin with. It's like web3, some bullshit marketing term someone invented and others hyped for a while to sell things

It never described anything specific that was really growing

Remember the NFT-metaverse? that trend lasted a whole 5 months or so in 2022
It's dead for now. The time isn't right. But will there be something like a "metaverse" in the future? Certainly. There will be many and they'll be cool.

Will it be called that and come from a company with almost no innovation and even less imagination? Certainly not.

In other words, Meta is dead. The idea, well, it's too early to say.

Yes, because "Google Trends" is sufficient data. Not disagreeing/agreeing but I expected more data.
I find it a decent barometer for how much a topic is being searched for. This is relevant to determining the popularity of a search term, which relates to the popularity of a topic.
