that's the easy thing to do (and i'd bet most of those were false positive from impoverish countries trying honest apps).
the problem is OEM/telco installing facebook and ad-ridden games in the middle of the night on million of phones every week. Or whatsapp (defacto messaging worldwide) scanning your contact list for changes and fetching list of recently used apps every minute and sending to their servers. you will never see google talking about those two things.
