I might be wrong but I think the orignal wikipedia is not banned. They can't really ban it, it's like banning youtube -- the outcry would be too loud

I still could visit the page of russian invasion of Ukraine when I was in Russia. And the page is great compared to mainstream russian news. They couldn't call russian government crazy, they use the term "irrational neofeudalism" instead

Switching my VPN to Moscow, English language Wikipedia seem the same. I'm not up on Russian Wikipedia.
