What an idiots, they can do so great things like MicroUSB or Type-C everywhere, but most of their ideas are nuts. The addictiveness of disservices is not in the pagination approach, most of it is in the user rights considerations.

I don't get the reasoning here either, but I would be down with banning endless scrolling because it has so much more disadvantages.
I don't mind it for entertainment, but for any technical data it just is a stupid idea. The usability is worse too aside maybe the most trivial mobile valium scrolling.

That could mean the engagement should not be used as metric at all, but lets see, for now it is just a plenary session.
It seems fairly obvious that some companies cannot regulate themselves properly and then lawmakers step in.
