A favourite artist of mine has just released a new album [1] that has raised some red flags, suggesting it may have been created exclusively using AI, possibly even Suno.
The reasons for the red flags are:
- Each song on the new album has a 'lossy' sound that, from my experience, all Suno songs have. This contrasts with their previous albums where the music sounded rich and full.
- Each song is no longer than two minutes which from my experience is the maximum length for Suno-generated songs.
- Some songs end by fading out, as if they had to be cut short due to the two minute limitation.
