This just came up in my browser for the first time today. Very distracting and not that useful. If I can't turn it off that is concerning.

From a site like SEOroundtable, I would assume some kind of bias.

There's no 'O' in their name or URL. It's SEroundtable "Search Engine Roundtable".

True. Though the majority of their content is SEO related

I'm also frequently surprised when I visit them and realize it's SE, not SEO.
