The point is, they (the local authority, customs) doesn't care about which country is from.

So all country is banned (or require a KC certificate) from importing personal item.

They will get as many KC stamps/badges they want in a few mere days.

The point is: given the amount of stuff they get from China, will SK afford the resources needed to check, test and reject those gazillion products?

No. They'll filter a products based on HS Code.

If you bought a doll (and a doll does not have a HS Code for "Adults") then a doll should have a KC certificate because it cannot be considered "only for adults"

And it's pretty slow on border right now (about a week?).

Because government issued a wide range of "war with drug" to filter all the products (IDK how they can achieve it.) on the border.

In fact, Korea will block all of products without KC from foreign regions. Contrary to the content of the article, Korea informed China about it in advance. So Ali and Temu are already getting ready to a KC corporation for profit. Also, Korea is preparing to change the contents of the FTA treaty for benefit of Korea (I know, this sounds like a humor). It is a closed-door policy. Many Korean oppose this policy, but the Korea government is lying that it is a false rumor. It will take effect from 1st June.
