I agree with you. I'll go even more extreme and say that most psychology is pseudoscience.
Now, that doesn't mean it is useful, it just means that the predictability is not the greatest. It can help, but you should never rely on it like you can rely on physics to get you safely in a airplane... Unless you know.. you're Boeing.
