Ask HN: What is the role of data scientists in the age of LLMs?

The same data science stuff that data scientists have done before and integrating LLMs into their workflow. I guess. Databases are not being fed into LLMs. LLMs takes in a text input and gives a text output, they are not taking a text input and giving a bunch of data back. They might be able to refer to the data, but they do not replace data scientists, yet. (Token limit)

Synthetic data researchers, connoisseurs and artisans, obviously. Feedback loop architects. Mindscaping artists.
