"Demonstration of communication in more than one context (e.g., alarm, mating, foraging) using the organism’s endogenous communication signals preferably in an interactive and autonomous way."
I have two dogs, two cats, two ferrets.
Both my dogs can communicate to me that they want to go there, or here, or want food, or play.
Both my cats can do the same,
For both above it is a combination of where they are and how they act and how they react to me.
The ferrets ... a ferret is constantly curious, persistent and the best way to communicate is to switch on, but not move a Henry vacuum, and say "Dance".
