We don't have anything. AT ALL

I've been thinking for the past 5 years; if you think about it, we humans don't have anything. Can you name something you can be sure you can have while alive? leave the afterlife part if it helps you name it.

Fingernails.
from the moment you posted this till the moment I read it. those fingernails are gone(the cells rapidly die and regenerate I guess) :)
No, I still have them.
if you're right do a TCP handshake with them. I'm waiting.
Well done. You just realized that ownership is only a concept, i.e. it doesn't exist in the physical world.
If you don't want to start a debate on communism and capitalism yes. I just meant that you can't have anything. Even your thoughts
I would have said "property is theft" but even birds stake a claim, even if it is just for a few months a year.
What do you mean by "have?" I can read "have" too many ways and I don't know what you mean. Ownership? Control? Possession? I "have" a physical body, I "have" children, I "have" this computer I'm typing this on. I can feel a "no true Scotsman" argument coming, where people give examples and you respond by telling us why that doesn't prove we "have" anything.

Everything is temporary, desire is the cause of all suffering. The Buddha asked this question a long time ago.
