Google blocked news searchs of 'manheim' and 'stabbing'

So as it appears this is not the casd but for a few hours google was not giving news searchs for these terms. Currently if you search for manheim you have 0 result about the event.

This is outreageous to me. Blocking news that doesnt go into your political position is textbook propaganda.

Because of the influence of google its borderline a matter of free internet since you cant exist on internet without google.

Do we need to lobby for a law forbidding to block basic news ?

Or ask elon tu buy it ?

an "search" with zero results, but six pages? Looks more like a case of photoshop.
Or a botched software fix..

I swear to you this was true an hour ago

I think I ran the search for the city name earlier on and immediately got a news article about the event

(yep just tried again and yep still shows the relevant article)

Must be only in europe then. Just tried here in france and theres not a single article of the event
Nop : « manheim attaque » brings fresh news in France.
Note it's Mannheim, not Manheim, google will 'understand' this, maybe in the case above, but not with only the city name
*This is misinformation.*
Or in the case of "manheim", simply laziness and assuming that autocorrect would somehow assume he wants the city, which is spelled differently, vs the company with that exact spelling.
At least in English and German, it would help to spell it right. "Manheim" is an automotive auction company. "Mannheim" is the city.

Searching "Mannheim" brings up plenty of news about the stabbing.

Search instantly brings up tons of articles on the subject. Are you sure you're not just being paranoid?
