Techies are the ones who actually understand how things work & how to design them. Maybe the LLMs will help write the code (I'm skeptical) but this insistence that knowing anything will be obsolete is a horrible evil lie to tell youngsters. It's not well backed up at all either. Stop reposting this garbage.
For what its worth, i think its garbage as well and just wanted to post it here so more people could say how garbage it is and confirm my confirmation bias :)
I'll pile on with a dose of "people keep overestimating ability of these things". They do a good job at imitating the ramblings of human beings (you are what you eat!) but computer code that needs to do anything more serious than just look plausible in a movie, has to have a depth of understanding behind it that these models utterly lack.
