It gives me no joy making this video but it had to be done.
The takeaway here is this: Theo and other loud "JS Influencers" don't speak for all of us in the JS ecosystem.
Not all of us use Next.js or swear by TypeScript.
Some of us like the wild wild west that is the JavaScript language(give me a .js file anytime any day).
And yes, not all of us use React. The tech is good but to some of us Vue is better and that's fine.
I hate to see the internet where we all build the same and have the same tastes and I am sick and tired of "JS Influencers" throwing a tantrum when you don't use the tech they are fanboying.
For context, you can check for the latest needless drama on Twitter/X that of course originated from the JS world and this time targeting Rails and the HEY Calendar.
Previously they took the drama to Laravel and how it had too much folders for building a to-do app(I guess they didn't know the Laravel folks were shipping real products and not building demos all the time to show "performance")
The JS ecosystem is bigger than these influencers and they don't speak for all of us.
