There's a serious internal problem Google needs to address if your hiring people down the pipeline only for them to get laid off within a few weeks before even completing their training.
Given the secrecy with which companies treat layoffs, I am not if that is possible. I see it as far more likely that layoffs a few weeks into a new job become normal.
Was it sweeping layoffs or close to 100 people?
