Years of lessons, years of practice, equipment costs, studio time, mixing, mastering, art... This is the most dumbed down version I could think of and even this makes it obvious the cost of making ART (*not content) is high and deserves to be compensated
Only two of those are cash costs. The rest are valued however a person values them. In the case of content, people often value their time at zero.
If it costs nothing to create something, it has no value and I expect to get it for free.
