I think at this point if it hadn't been invented yet and someone desantis didn't like invented fire he'd ban it.
Oh well, just eat vegetables, nuts and seeds. They taste great, they are good for you and you are guaranteed to get a well-balanced nutrition. I am going on 10 years now with no animal products and my nutrition is just fine. Enjoy!
"banning lab-grown meat"

Under what authority? Pffft

Because we all know banning something makes it really unpopular and then it goes away forever.

> "Governer Signs Bill" implies that the Florida legislature has passed said bill, which itself implies that this action is at least vaguely in line with the will of the people of Florida

> Now, it's been a while since I watched Schoolhouse Rock, but I seem to recall that the goal of representative democracy was for the "elected representatives" to "represent" their constituents.

Why do vetoes exist?

Decent points overwhelmed by instigative phrasing instead. The source material doesn't exactly set things up for a reasonable conversation about the bill itself either of course but at least it's points aren't straight flames.

FWIW the bill also contains things like rules on electric charging regulation and it's likely most people don't really want a law about restricting which type of meat can be sold as much as that portion was thrown in and the rest of the law was more important. Things like focusing just on how stupid those who do/don't think the bill should have been vetoed really sidestep the actual discussion on that kind of nuance.

> Today, Florida is fighting back against the global elite’s plan to force the world to eat meat grown in a petri dish or bugs to achieve their authoritarian goals.

Authoritarian goals for me, not for thee!

Done to protect cattle industry. Freedom party tells you what you can eat and smoke.Speach is next will use children as an excuse. Already tried with doctor asking about firearms. Get Trump back in anything will fly with the supreme court.
