With this Supreme Court people who start negotiating by squatting will get the firing squad. Sounds kind of paranoid, but no different than the abortion rulings.

Infinitely low interest rates were not sustainable and helped fuel the speculation in the housing market.
I think a trend people don't realize is that there is a one/two punch: Interest rates are high and that slows house buying. And because houses are not going up year over year, first-time home buyers feel less pressure to buy right now!
Also, the WFH movement has removed a lot of desirability of the really competitive/expensive real estate markets of the big cities.
