Show HN: Fluent AI Localization Editor (fluent-ai.jillesvangurp.com)

I built a tool to help me translate project fluent localization files. And because it is 2024, of course it uses OpenAI to help with the translations.

This was a 2 weekend project and I decided to just put it out there and see what happens. It's all open source if you wish to modify it or contribute back: jillesvangurp/fluent-ai.

Of course the tool itself is localized and you can load the ftl files from the tool if you want to play around a bit. You'll need an OpenAI key for using the AI part. But even as a translation editor, it's useful.

It's all browser based and there is no server component (other than OpenAI). And fair warning: it's all kotlin-js which might not be everybody's cup of tea.

There probably are bugs and of course while generally fine, OpenAI translations aren't flawless.

There is a lot of potential for other features. I would love to get some feedback on this.
