Rate limited for negative comments related to Apple privacy's claims

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, and I always trusted HackerNews to be a safe, fair space for conversations on tech topics. My (7-year-old) main account was rate limited (banned?) after making some comments on the various Apple Intelligence threads today questioning their privacy claims around the off-device / "private cloud" data transfer. It never happened before.

I wonder if I hit some sort of automatic moderation or if something more insidious is going on. It would be nice to understand the reasons behind it and to hear from others if this is more widespread.

TBH, I always thought the generally positive "can do no harm" attitude towards Apple in here was a reflection of a generally positive attitude in the tech world as a whole but now I wonder if something more mischievous is happening.

Thanks for reading my rambles!

Afaik it's just rate limiting, I don't know what the limits are but another user made a similar submission this month (can't find it right now) so maybe the limit was lowered. Did any of the comments receive [flagged] from other users?
There are negative comments here about Apple every day. Without knowing what your account is so we can see the comments and rate of commenting it's really hard to provide you with any kind of feedback. But there doesn't seem to be any automoderation beyond rate limiting comments (past some limit), not based on the content.
